A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of rape after an incident in an alleyway in Scunthorpe town centre.
The incident happened in an alleyway on Oswald Road, near the junction with Mary Street.

Scunthorpe's latest crime figures reveal the area of the town where most offences took place.
Statistics have just been released through national website www.police.uk for October.
During that month there were 301 crimes reported within a one-mile radius of the town's main police station.
The location seeing most crime during this period was between Doncaster Road and Frodingham Road, where 14 offences were reported.
