SPENDING by North Lincolnshire Council in 2016-17 on closed circuit television cameras (CCTV) is to be increased to £267,000.Currently the comings and goings of local people are monitored by a barrage of 177 cameras.Last year, £130,000 was invested on extending the network by providing additional facilities in locations including Barton, Brigg, Epworth and Winterton.Public spending watchdogs at Big Brother Watch, however, fear new and advancing technology will see further investment...
