A SCUNTHORPE man has avoided a jail term after admitting two counts of common assault.
Ricky Bentley, 35, of Theodore Road, was sentenced to five-and-a-half months in prison, suspended for 18 months, after pleading guilty at Grimsby Crown Court.
He also received a restraining order for five years.
