CYCLISTS have been urged to lock their bikes up securely after a spate of thefts saw more than 50 cycles stolen in North Lincolnshire over the last two months.
The thefts were among a spike seen across the Humberside Police force area, where the number of cycles stolen went up from 132 in April to 184 in May.
In North Lincolnshire, there were 22 reports of cycle thefts in April and 31 in May.
