POLICE are continuing to investigate an incident where a man was left with serious facial injuries after being assaulted on Doncaster Road in Scunthorpe.
Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses after the 47-year-old man was assaulted shortly after 5pm on Saturday, April 8.
The man was walking down Doncaster Road with some friends, having previously left the Scunthorpe United football ground, when he was shouted at by a group of unknown men on the opposite side of the road.
